Amanda McPherson

Amanda McPherson is the Director of Technology and WVEIS for Wetzel County Schools.  Mrs. McPherson graduated from Buckeye Local High School in Ohio, completed her BA in Music Education at West Liberty State College, and received her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Salem International University.  Mrs. McPherson began her educational career at Harrison Hills School District in Ohio before she moved to Wetzel County.  She has worked at Hundred High School, Long Drain School, New Martinsville School, and Magnolia High School before taking on the job of Director of Child Nutrition, Wellness, and Nurses, which she held for 10 years.  She was also the director of the Wetzel County Technical Education Center for 5 years. She has completed additional coursework at Fairmont State and Pierpont College. Mrs. McPherson has held various positions in professional organizations throughout her tenure, and is the Assistant Coordinator of Bands for the OVAC and works with the Showcase of Bands and All-Star Marching Band.
